Studio Practices

Our studio is based just north of LA. This is where all of our candles are made, our masks are dyed and filled, our orders are packed and shipped. Everything is done in small batches. We work with reusable tools and keep our waste to a minimum. All of our leftover dye baths are disposed of safely following local environmental guidelines. The paper towels we use in candle making are processed through our Lomi into soil and fed back to our studio plants. Any soiled towels that cannot be composted are discarded, however because over 85% of our materials are natural, we are able to compost most of our waste!

Our materials are sourced from all over the world. Our wax is from the US, our dyes are from various countries including the US and India, our onyx & marble vessels and our silk are from China. We do our best to vet all of our vendors and only source from trusted partners that we have built relationships with. The foundation of our brand is built on connection so it is important to us to know and communicate with the teams we work with.
